A quick note to all of our affiliates promoting our Greg Bennett guitars. We have sold out of every single one of them!

Introducing The Legacy Learning Systems Affiliate iPhone App

It’s finally here! The Legacy Learning Systems Affiliate iPhone App.

Thanks to uBuildApp and their owner/affiliate manager Brad Waller I was able to create the app in less than two hours. Brad and his team have been awesome through what turned out to be a trying process due to the release of Apple’s OS4. Through no fault of their own, we encountered some issues with the release, but Brad made sure that it was still released in a reasonable time.

Here are some features of the App:

Program updates and special offers/bonuses only available through the app. The first page will feature these updates and news items.
All episodes of our podcast in an easy to download format.
Our blog in an easy to read format.

Reminder: Today is the Last Day for Original Edition Learn & Master Guitar

As I mentioned last week we will no longer be selling the Original Edition of Learn & Master Guitar as of tomorrow (Thursday July 15).

Please make a note of this as we will only selling the Expanded Edition from this point forward.

Please remove all references to the Original Edition as soon as possible.

Learn & Master Guitar Original Almost Sold Out!

Beginning next Thursday, July 15, we will no longer be selling the Original Edition of Learn & Master Guitar. Learn and Master Guitar Original Sold Out

The Original Edition has 10 discs instead of the 20 discs in our Expanded Edition and will be completely sold out by next Thursday.

Please make a note of this as we will only selling the Expanded Edition from this point forward.

So naturally, it will make sense to remove all references to the Original Edition.

Old Enough to Vote, Get Drafted and Serve Jury Duty

With apologies to Melanie Seery of AffiliateAdvocacy, who is currently serving week two of jury duty right now, I am so proud that our little podcast will be old enough to today to serve jury duty, vote, get drafted, and much more.

Matt Out of the Office Until July 7

Just a quick note that I will be out of the office south-haven1 starting this afternoon through next Tuesday.

I will be back in the office on Wednesday July 7.

I will be going to South Haven, Michigan, which is right on Lake Michigan, with my wife Tara and I will literally not be using a phone (except for GPS if we get lost), internet or anything that even remotely resembles technology while gone.

So, if you need anything urgent, now is a good time to call or email or IM

I wish all of you here in the United States a very happy and safe Independence Day, and a wonderful weekend to the rest of you.

What Should We Test?

Always Be Testing. That is my motto. What Should we Test?

OK, my actual motta has nothing to do with split testing or multi-variant testing or any form of testing whatsoever, but that is not the point.

I love testing things on sites. I love trying new things and seeing what works. I love finding out that header A outperformed header B even though I just KNEW header B would work better.

I especially like finding out new ways to improve conversions and increase sales.

All that being said, we are continuing to test new things on our site. We are finding all sorts of things, some surprising and some that we expected.

Some of what we are finding is that new ideas are outperforming the old ways. Other times, we find the old way is working really well.

Now we want to ask you: what should we test on our site? What would you like to see us test on our various pages?

On the heels of our ultra-successful Gibson Learn & Master Guitar iPhone App, I am excited to announce the upcoming release of the Legacy Learning Systems Affiliate Program iPhone App!

Thanks to uBuildApp and their owner/affiliate manager Brad Waller I was able to create the app in less than two hours. Most of their apps take less than an hour, but I am a bit pickier (OK, slower and prone to error).

Legacy Helps to Start a New Chapter in Mike’s Life

Bahrain Here We Come!

Bahrain Learn and Master Guitar Yesterday I got email from Steve Krenz, the instructor of Learn & Master Guitar saying that the course was just sent to our 94th country - Bahrain!

For those who did now know Bahrain is a very small island country in the Middle East with a population of just over 1 million people.

Odd fact: On 1 September 2006, Bahrain changed its weekend from being Thursdays and Fridays to Fridays and Saturdays, in order to have a day of the weekend shared with the rest of the world.

This goes to show that we are truly reaching the world to Bring Personal Dreams Within Reach.
