Legacy Helps to Start a New Chapter in Mike’s Life
Posted by Matt McWilliams in Legacy News on May 29th, 2010
Here is an awesome testimonial that Steve Krenz, the instructor for Learn & Master Guitar, got the other day that I wanted to share with you.
I love getting these!
Hey Steve, I purchased your course almost two years ago. My wife left me and the kiddos shortly after I purchased it, so I had to put it on the backburner.
I got your course out last Oct. and have been studying and practicing everyday since then. I really love it. You have such a great gift for teaching. You make the challenges fun and interesting. The kids are loving it. I just now started investigating your online resources and I’m wow’ed again.
I would like to make it to Nashville in June for the Legacy Days Guitar Gathering 2010 if not only to meet you. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun and informative. Hopefully I will see you there.
Anyway I just wanted to thank you so much for opening a new chapter in my life by sharing your talents and gifts in teaching me. There are so many other guitar teachings material out on the market today and somehow I chose yours and am so happy I did. Thank you again for being my mentor, I will definitely pass your teachings to my children and grand kids.
Awesome Painting Course Testimonial from Michigan!

Got this from our CEO the other day. WOW!
Dear Legacy,
It’s true what your motto says,…”making personal dreams come true”.? I am so pleased with Gayle Levee as instructor in Learn & Master Painting.? I began very slowly about one month ago and am only on lesson 5, but already visualize myself painting sceneries on my own.? I haven’t had any previous training at all, and though I’ve had a desire to paint, I’ve wondered even with lessons if I actually could.? Well, I am definitely on my way.? I was so please with my first forest that I actually clapped at my work!.? Thanks Legacy for a wonderful course …and making a dream with reach.
Gratefully,
Linda from Michigan
Truly Touching Feedback from a L&M Guitar Customer

Today Steve Krenz (our guitar instructor on Learn & Master Guitar) got another one of those emails that makes everything we do worth it.? I can’t really speak to how much our products are truly impacting people’s lives.? Thanks for helping!
Here is the email we got today:
Steve,
I know you’re busy, but I want to thank you for a wonderful guitar course!? I purchased it approximately 2 years ago or so after returning from a tour in Kuwait/Iraq and retiring from the military after 30+ years.? I had to medically retire because of depression at the young age of 48 but no longer take any medication.? Both sons are grown and our marriage is still successful after 30 years.? God is so good!
My musical experience began at age six sitting behind a piano until about age thirteen when I just simply “quit.”? It was a mistake but looking back at past mistakes never helps one go forward.
I’m now playing gospel music at a nursing home weekly and have been invited to play a solo of Amazing Grace, in Open D tuning, at a local baptist church.? There’s no way to explain clinical depression to someone that’s never been through that dark tunnel.? Learning the guitar helped lift me from that depression along with getting active in church and family.
Thanks Again & God Bless You.

Wonderful Words from a Learn and Master Affiliate

Today, I got one of those special emails that always make my day.? I sent a copy of our Learn and Master Guitar Home School course to an affiliate.? He got it 2 days later, a true testament to how fast and awesome our shipping department is.? And this is what he said (he gave permission to share this of course):
Hey Matt, just wanted to let you know that I got the course (just 2 days after you said you were sending it) and I have been reviewing it. I have to tell you that it’s fantastic! As a teacher I value the idea of recycling concepts to reinforce student aquisition of skills and techniques. The way you all have set up the way the Lesson Sessions, the Bonus Workshops, and the Jam Along CDs does a great job of letting the student take a concept and really make it their own.
The quality of the instruction and the DVDs is beyond other guitar instructionals I’ve gotten. It’s just a great product and it’s easy to see why you all seem to be leading the field.
You guys have been fantastic to work with over the past 4 years. Thanks so much and I look forward to the next 4.
Thanks Adam!
A Couple Shares Their Testimonials
Posted by Matt McWilliams in Fun Stuff, Legacy News on July 25th, 2009
Recently we received a few emails from a couple in the United Kingdom that has purchased our guitar, piano, drums, and even our Learn and Master Painting course that comes out in August.? They received a preview/unfinished version of the painting course.? Here is what they had to say:
It was with great interest that I bought the ‘learn and Master Painting’ programme. Painting is always something I wanted to do but thought it would be something I never did because I never had painting classes and at this stage of my life finding a painting class isn’t an option. I was concerned however how I would fare with a DVD based learning course because there is no interaction between the teacher and myself - or so I thought.
From the start your programme has greatly impressed me. The teacher is marvelous and explains everything clearly and concisely. She also breaks everything down so simply that I had no problem following her. I found that there is plenty of time for me to follow instructions without having to lag behind.
All through the series I’ve seen how it has been planned methodicaly and I really liked how it is all broken down into stages and steps which I have to master before moving on to the next stage.
Obviously once the actual painting began it was a far more interesting course to study but I’m glad I spent so long getting to know how my studio should be laid out and how to create my palette and the different consistencies of paint first.
I would definitely recommend this course to any of my friends interested in developing their creativity. It is a stress free relaxing experience which will be truly enjoyed by all and it is very competently run by an excellent instructor.
I especially enjoyed learning all of the Brushwork Teqniques and how to do them. The instructions were really clear and ample practise time was given during the session. I also liked the way I’ve been encouraged to experiment and find my own unique style of painting. This course has given me the fundamentals neccesary to start, perfect and complete my own painting.
I couldn’t have asked for a better painting course to suit me and i’ve found the whole experience a truely enjoyable one!
Many Thanks
That is from the wife.? Then the husband sent in his own note of thanks.
I just wanted to express my deep gratitude for the work you’ve been doing with Legacy Learning. I’ve previously purchased your guitar, piano and drums courses and have enjoyed each one immensely (I finished the piano one earlier this week!). Your instructors are all brilliantly chosen, and they are each clearly passionate about their chosen instrument (or paintbrush!), which cannot but carry over into their teaching. You are truly “teaching men to fish”! My wife is really looking forward to starting this course for real in the near future, and I’m sure it will be an enriching experience for her.
Thanks Simon and Nechoma.? You are the reason we do this.? Bringing Personal Dreams Within Reach…
Heart-Warming Testimonial From a Customer

Earlier today, Steve Krenz, the instructor for our Learn and Master Guitar course, shared an awesome testimonial with all of us.? He does this occasionally and it always serves a great reminder of why we do what we do.? He shares only a few of the hundreds upon hundreds (our office is full of them) warm messages like this that he receives every day, and this one was a special one to me.
Here is an excerpt of it below.? You can read the entire letter as well.
Dear Steve,
I purchased Learn and Master the guitar in June and have been playing almost daily since?
In a word? no a word won?t do? in many words? wow, amazing, fantastic, great, awesome, and incredible.
I am so impressed with the quality and the content of the program. I am also impressed with your magnificent teaching ability and that expressed through a DVD! I feel like I am sitting right in front of you and I am wholly relaxed while I learn…. I play with along with you, listen intently to you, laugh with you and marvel at the your timing of comments? it is almost uncanny?
Somewhere I read that your program was probably the best out there but was expensive. I was expecting to find out it cost $600 or something? to my delight I purchased your bonus program for the sale price of $149! That is certainly NOT expensive…
I just want to encourage you and thank you for all you have provided. I pray that the Lord continues to bless you and your family and I look forward to one day meeting you? if not here then at home with Him in glory. So Steve, thanks. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
It’s days like these that it is just easy to work, despite the lack of sleep last night :)? Thanks Dave!
