The 2.5 Second Visitor

My friend and fellow Affiliate Manager Geno Prussakov posted yesterday on his blog about retaining the “here today, gone in 2.5 seconds” visitors to your site.? It’s a great post!

We have all heard that we have 8 seconds, right?? 50 percent of visitors leave your site within 8 seconds, so the data says.? We also know that attention spans are getting shorter.? One of Geno’s friends, Avinash Kausihik, was quoted as saying that you now have “two-and-a-half seconds before they leave” you site.? YIKES!

Geno has some good tips for keeping those visitors on your site and, more importantly, converting them into sales!
